Cornering – “Rhythm”

Hey racers,

yesterday i was watching ImpulsiveRacer live in Monte Carlo and i must say his driving style is exceptional. If you watch him and other racers you will see some differences:

He drove the circuit like a train on the rail. Watch the video and you can see it.
I also watched the other drivers. They did not have the same flowing rounds like him. I think what you can learn from him is that you must have a perfect timing for gliding through the curves. That must be hard training. I tested the circuit today and my flow was not almost like his flow. I was racing some rounds and my timing for the curves becomes a little better.

If you watch Impulsive closely  you can see a special curving method. He accelerates strong in front of the curve. Then he rolls around. At the end of the curve he has optimal speed to accelerate faster than other drivers. But one thing is clear you must learn every circuit properly to approach to his times. Racing the circuit properly is the most important thing. Practice the rhythm of the circuit in the time trial modus. It helps you to be comfortable with the circuit.
